Those of you who have been with the
« Catherine de
Montsalvy website » since the day the site was launched
on 10 September 2008, will remember that
Gérard Chambre has always supported
my website, since I got in contact with him in Spring
2009!
How great was my joy when he agreed to be the first
of the former stars of our beloved
« TV-Series,
Catherine, il suffit d'un amour » to answer
my
Mistral's 12 questions.
Months later at « Palais Bulles » while I was attending
his concert
Bulles de chant, I received my very first
Autograph to share with my visitors. The same year on
Christmas he sent the most enchanting
Christmas wishes, which touched me very
much!
During the last years, he shared with us some of
his very private
documents and
photos
concerning the TV-Series adapted after Juliette's Novels
and directed by Dame Marion Sarraut.
But
what only very close friends of mine knew - it had been Gérard who was responsible that ALL of us, after
over 25 years, had news from Claudine Ancelot! Without
him there would have been no meeting with our
Claudine/Catherine in January 2011 !
I told my friend Gérard, that this was not the OSCAR, but my way to say thank you to
a wonderful person, who is not only an excellent Entertainer, but a man with the heart on the right
place. Thank you Gérard for all you have done for
this website. |
