the Catherine, il
suffit d’un
amour TV-Series
and Novels.
I am very much
delighted to
present you the
photo (creation)
of a very special reunion!
It is the
meeting of three
of the former
beloved stars of
“Catherine”
after more than
twenty years!
Claudine
Ancelot, who
was our beloved
Catherine,
Pierre-Marie
Escourrou,
as Arnaud de
Montsalvy,
our valiant
Chevalier and
Gérard Chambre,
Jean Poton de
Xaintrailles
as their best
friend and
godfather of
their son Michel. The
meeting took
place in Paris
June 2013 and we
had it first
hand from Claudine,
Pierre-Marie
and Gérard
that they spent
a marvellous and
exceptional
dinner together.
Les
filles des
Grands Chemins
(as called by Claudine Ancelot
and Juliette
Benzoni)
cannot express
enough their
pride and joy,
to be
responsible for
this unique
reunion! Ten
years ago, both
of us created a
website – never
believing what
can happen, when
two young women
believe in a
good cause and
stay with their
feet on the
ground!
I
would like to thank
my dear friend
Gérard Chambre
for sending me
personally some
precious photos of
that unique
meeting! At the
same time the two
passionate
webmasters Linda
and Frédérique,
send a huge embrace
to Claudine,
Gérard and Pierre-Marie for
sharing with us that
memorable reunion –
posing for a
sublime souvenir photo –
confirming that the
trio truly had a
magnificent time
during the shooting
of Catherine.
On one of our
meetings with the
trio they confirmed
that they were
deeply touched that
their performance in
1986 in Catherine,
directed by our
dear
Dame Marion
Sarraut has
not been forgotten
until this day!
On
2009 my
dear friend Frédérique had
the teasing idea to
interview my
sister and me! One
of her questions
was: if you could
choose a new highlight for
next year for your
website, what would
that be? My answer?
-
To travel to
Paris and meet
Juliette
Benzoni in
person!
to be able to
present an
interview, with
none other than
Claudine
Ancelot!
and yes, there
was a third
wish, the
re-publishing of
the English
Catherine books!

last never
translated book

I
like to end with my
all-time favourite
motto since 2008… but
not forgetting to
express my sincere
thanks to my dear
sister Evelyne
for her latest
creation. Even
though she stays in
the background of
her own choice, she
shares our joy with
everything
concerning
