TiKiT Pan books 2021

July 2021 Linda, webmaster

I was beginning to believe that my lovely idea to show my gratitude to friends whom I have met on the Internet and surprised me to share with this site material and information, was from bygone times.
But to my great joy I was wrong. There is always someone who finds the way to my website or answers to my letters. Tim Kitchen is one of these wonderful people, with whom I have been in loose contact for at least six years. Yet only lately did I fully understand why Tim and I had so much in common.

It’s my site so I’ve decided I can change the rules as I go along! quote Tim Kitchen

Tim is the webmaster of the greatest Pan books Researcher website imaginable. I always thought my site was not too bad with collecting Book covers and all kinds of details, but in my eyes Tim surpasses all that. You ask yourself what that has to do with the Catherine de Montsalvy website...

I explain; whereas I was interested to find the 'Catherine book covers' to know  how many Countries published Juliette Benzoni's oeuvre - especially the 'Catherine, Marianne and Le Gerfaut' Novels (the three book series translated into English) one of Tim's goal's was to find out which 'Artists' illustrated the book covers...! His website was launched around 1999 and through his hobby he came into contact with many illustrious Artists over these long years. I have been sincerely impressed about his friendship with some of these stupendous 'Illustrators' who painted the Pan books covers or illustrated books.

Without him, I would not have known who illustrated some of the English Catherine and Marianne Pan books you can see below here. Tim has allowed me to show on my future website his great treasure, the dream come true of every Collector of rare items. The talk is of two of the original paintings of the acclaimed Danish Artist 'Hans Heinrich Helweg'
!

I will not go into more details about these Artists or of which two original covers I am talking about,  that shall be done on my new Website; yet I love to share a link to Tim's website

Dear Tim,
I thank you very much for your kindness to tell me 'but of course you may share this with your site'. « I know Tim, this is not the 'Pan books Award', but I am sure you understand the meaning behind it. I also admit that I used to see this kind of 'Award 'on  the first J.K. Rowling website and I just loved it ».

I am happy that 'Tim Kitchen' is now also immortalised on my website with so many other magnificent people like: Juliette Benzoni, Marion Sarraut, Claudine Ancelot, Telos Publishing and many of my friends... I wish him a continuation with his search for many more incredible treasures in the years to come.

Linda, webmaster of the Catherine de Montsalvy website.
